STRUCTURAL FIRE PROTECTION

Prevent spread!

Fire is still one of the most common causes of damage in buildings. Doors, windows and other connecting elements between walls, ceilings and floors present the greatest risk potential here, not to mention cable and pipe systems, joints and cladding, which in the worst case can act like fire accelerators.

In order to avoid such security threats as early as possible and to prevent fires from spreading in an emergency, a whole range of fire protection measures must be observed when building or renovating buildings. The primary goal here is to maximize the safety of those who are in the building. In second place is the best possible protection of property and property.

In order to be able to guarantee optimal prevention and reliably functioning processes in emergencies, a needs-based and very precise planning of fire protection measures is necessary depending on the size of the building and structural complexity. Buildings must be "broken down" into fire compartments so that a large number of possible fire scenarios can be optimally covered ("defensive fire protection"). Refractory or fire-resistant materials must be carefully selected and used at the appropriate connection points in order to achieve specifications and goals. Whether fire protection doors, smoke protection doors or fire protection glazing: Openings in walls, ceilings and floors that connect rooms with each other or with the outside area must be secured with tested fire protection barriers.

We will help you: from the conception through structural measures to the implementation of regular maintenance.
